Punk Rock in the 80's railed against America and began the long march towards what we see today in the form of ANTIFA and BLM. The early 2000's saw a windfall of money and participation in the organizations that championed liberal causes under the guise of so called punk. Not long after, the censorship and cancelling began to creep into culture and slowly become more and more acceptable. The animating contest of ideas is not something the extreme wings of American politics and culture is interested in at all.
