Matt is a New Yorker from California who edits Reason Magazine and acts as a missionary bringing libertarianism to as many people as humanly possible. He becomes a human calculator when discussing economics which comes in handy when you can't be bothered researching every tiny detail about a president's performance. Despite having a cripplingly high IQ, Matt can still talk like a normal person when he discusses numbers and he gets jokes and stuff. This is becoming increasingly rare in the autistic-laden smart community. Oh, and the NY Post called him a "dud."
