Shortly after the terrorist attack that killed 90 fans at an Eagles of Death Metal concert in Paris, Gavin sat down with frontman Jesse Hughes to discuss various anomalies that night. Jesse posited that it may have been an inside job. He was completely canceled after this and his career ended. Gavin's pal Jesse Keeler (Death From Above) happened to be in the room and was also threatened with cancelation. Neither Jesse spoke to Gavin ever again.
